Overview
CheerFit is a workout and skill-tracking app for cheerleaders and gymnasts. This policy applies to the CheerFit mobile app and explains what data the app handles, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Data handled by the app
CheerFit stores the following information in the app’s private storage on your device:
- Profile information: your display name, avatar, and selected sports.
- Training content: custom exercises, routines, and practice notes you create.
- Progress and activity: skill status, practice and workout history, completion dates and durations, streaks, and awards.
- Check-in information: optional mood and soreness ratings and selected soreness areas.
- Reminder information: notification preferences, schedules, and local delivery and interaction metrics.
- App information: onboarding status, other preferences, and cached Pro entitlement status.
The app uses this information on your device to provide workouts, track progress, make training recommendations, calculate streaks and awards, schedule reminders, and remember your preferences.
Data collection and sharing
The CheerFit developer does not receive, collect, or store your profile, training, progress, check-in, or reminder information on a developer-operated server. CheerFit does not:
- Use analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry services.
- Include advertising or advertising-tracking services.
- Sell your information.
- Track your activity across other apps or websites.
CheerFit uses operating-system services and software libraries needed to provide app features. The app does not use those components to send athlete-entered data to the CheerFit developer or to advertising or analytics providers.
Device and cloud backups
Depending on your device and operating-system settings, Apple, Google, or your device manufacturer may include CheerFit data in an encrypted device backup or device-to-device transfer. These platform services are controlled by you and the platform provider; the CheerFit developer cannot access those backups.
Platform providers handle backup data under their own privacy policies and your device settings.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, CheerFit schedules local notifications on your device. The app does not use a CheerFit push-notification server. Reminder schedules and local delivery and interaction metrics remain in app storage, subject to the backup behavior described above.
You can disable reminders in CheerFit or change notification permission in your device settings.
In-app purchases
CheerFit may offer purchases processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The store provider handles your payment information. CheerFit receives purchase and restore status from the store on your device so it can unlock Pro features, but the CheerFit developer does not collect or store payment-card or bank-account information.
Apple or Google may retain transaction records under its own terms and privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
CheerFit is intended for users age 13 and older. The CheerFit developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app. Information entered into CheerFit is handled locally, subject to the platform backup and store services described in this policy.

Data security
CheerFit stores app data in storage protected by the operating system’s app sandbox. The CheerFit developer does not operate a server that receives the athlete-entered data described in this policy. Platform backups and store transactions are protected and managed by their respective providers.
Data retention and deletion
CheerFit retains locally stored data until you delete it. You can use Delete All Data in the app to remove your profile, progress, workouts, check-ins, custom training content, reminder information, and preferences from CheerFit on that device. You can also remove local app data by uninstalling CheerFit.
A platform backup may retain a copy according to your Apple, Google, or device backup settings and may restore that copy if you reinstall the app or move to another device. Store transaction records are maintained separately by Apple or Google; deleting CheerFit data does not cancel or refund a purchase or delete the store provider’s transaction record.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to CheerFit, store requirements, or applicable law. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required by law.
